CAMBRIDGE FOUNDATION PIONEERS CREATIVITY, ACTION and SERVICE; REVAMPS BLEAK PLOT INTO PARK

At Cambridge International Foundation School, CAS is central to the INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE hexagon and to the IB mission and program. With an intention to make the planet greener and eco-friendly, the students adopted a bleak park and cleaned it followed by beautification through tree plantation. They showcased their work through a student-led presentation and also recalled their experiences. The staff and parent fraternity appreciated the laudable initiative and praised their drive to support the cause of environmental concerns and community safety. The Chief Guest Mrs. Neerja and Mr. Arun Jain (Councillor-Urban Estate Phase I) inaugurated the park accompanied by Guest of Honour Mrs. Mona Bhatia by planting a sapling. Chief Academic Officer Ms. Deepa Dogra and Director Mr. J.K. Kohli graced the occasion with their benign presence. Principal Mr.Stanley Antony and Coordinator Ms.Rashmi Saini were the ones behind this event. They congratulated the school and students for the commendable enterprise. Students also contributed to this noble step by planting more trees. They pledged to take care of these plants and watch them grow. This endeavour is a response to the substantial climate change and sustainability challenges. The students requested the Chief Guest to arrange for gate and electricity for the place to be ideal.  Through proactive advocacy by such environmentally conscious partners, this drive aims to catalyse environmental awareness in the social arena. The event was a grand accomplishment.
